Why this training matters
Early intervention saves lives.
Eating disorders are among the most serious mental health conditions and are associated with the highest mortality rate of any psychiatric illness. Early recognition and intervention significantly improve recovery outcomes.
My focus is on translating specialist clinical knowledge into practical skills that professionals and families can use immediately to improve outcomes for young people.
Earlier identification
Staff and parents who know the signs can act sooner — dramatically improving recovery outcomes.
Safer environments
Schools and care settings that understand eating disorders create safer, more responsive environments for young people.
Empowered families
Parents equipped with the right language and knowledge can make a meaningful difference at home.
Reduced stigma
Increasing understanding reduces shame, encourages earlier help-seeking, and supports a more compassionate response to eating disorders.
